BoooooHoooooHooooo :((

All of us have cried in our lives for one reason or the other.The reasons are varied though.I was wondering possibly how many types of tears there can be :

1)I remember reading in my birth certificate,"Cried soon after birth."Now,I don't remember why did i cry then,but since i was a novice and had no ideas about the rules of the game...i would term these the "Genuine Tears." :D

2)With the change of calendar,I learnt that whenever I felt hungry or simply wanted Momma's attention,I could shed a tear or two and most importantly make loud noises.Mumma Immediately came to my rescue.These were the "Attention-seeker Tears."

3)At times,it did happen that I wasn't hungry,rather i had pain in my tummy but mom misunderstood me and since i couldnt tell her that,I simply kept on crying helplessly....The "Helpless Tears."

4)As the years progressed,I cried when i wanted chocolates,icecreams or just one more mango.Out came the "Greedy tears."


5)At times while playing I bruised my hand and although it didnt hurt as much(ssshhh!!),I cried because mom's sympathy always felt great...the "Sympathy Tears."


6)Since i was always among the toppers of the class(Allhamdolilah),at times when i dint score that well,tears automatically rolled out.The "Ambitious Tears."


7)Ok,enough about me.Have you seen those crocodile tears shed by the vamps of TV Soaps?Yeah these are the "K-Tears" dedicated to...well you know who ;).


8)The next category is termed the "Maachis Tears"(which fail to come out) in the memory of the song "Pani pani re...khaare paani re".


9)A foriegn particle comes flying from nowhere and sticks to your eye,immediately a drop of salty water comes out...the "Emotionless Tear."


10)You must have heard about tears of joy(like the ones those beautiful sleek ladies shed after winning the "Miss World" title),lets call them the "Blissful tears."


11)You look at a handicapped person or a small hungry child walking barefoot in scorching heat or even a dog being badly beaten up by the kids in the street and not just your eyes but your heart cries as well....The "Humble Heart Tears."


12)People are fond of crying in movies..may it be the death of the hero's friend trying to save him or the separation of two families (who earlier believed in "United we stand divided we fall")or the heroine being diagnosed with a fatal disease(though later it is proven that she is all right and the reports were manipulated by her evil uncle :p).Phew !! These are the "Dramatic Tears."


13)You cry when someone who you trusted more than yourself breaks your trust...the "Agonizing Tears."


14)When a bride cries on her wedding day,her heart has a mixture of feelings, she's sad to depart from her family,she's hopeful for her future life and she's scared in the heart of hearts because she has to prove herself as a wife,as a daughter in law,as a sister in law,as a mother and lots more.I donno what to call them but "Jumbled Tears."


15)Ever felt afraid ?Of the dark?Of tomorrow?Of the unknown and even the known?Even fear makes one cry..the "Frightful Tears."


16)Ok,there's one more category...the "OnionTears" which i need not explain.

I'm sure i haven't covered even 10% of the reasons.Your views,suggestions,experiences,comments are always welcome :)
