Ever since the bell rang on 14th June'08,at 1:00pm,I haven't stopped screaming and telling everybody near and far that finally I am Er.Saniya Aijaz. It took me four years to get that title but in the end i guess it was worth the effort.Yesterday I was telling my 7 year old cousin,Aatif, that my exams were over and I've become an engineer. He was amazed, the little boy and his expressions were like Ohh-Really?!!? and then he asked me,"Which engineer?".Impressed by his question,I told him that I had become an Electronics Engineer. He was even more excited and smiling told me innocently that a few years back (perhaps when he was in Nursery ;)),he wanted to become the same but now he has "decided" to become a scientist :D.
Kids have infectious smiles.I couldnt help laughing too.I remembered my school days, when even i changed what I-wanted-to-be every now and then.I remember contemplating becoming a pilot and once even joining the police :O !! When you are small, you are a little bit of everything,an engineer,a doctor,a lawyer,a teacher,a scientist. As you grow, only one of them grows. The engineer in me grew then, lets c whether the scientist in Aatif takes over too ;) :D.
